MMN is a party for all those who serve, have served and love those who wear the military uniform. MMN celebrates and recognizes the GLBT community. MMN is the largest event of it's kind in the world. San Diego has a new way to kick start their Friday nights. F.U.B.A.R. is a miliary acronym meaning fucked up beyond recognition. We expect most of you will end up this way once the night is over;-) We hope to see you guys Friday Feb 15th at 7pm. It's Urban Mo's so you know it's gonna be rocking. They'll be unveiling their new Dance Floor, lighting & Sound system and count (15) HD TV's. Justice Paige is hosting, they'll be military boys, go go boys, & DJ TAJ spinning. So it's gonna be hot. Come and bring a friend. We don't care where you end up, only where you begin. We want you starting with us;-)
I love traveling and seeing new places and this past year we've been all over the map. I had never been as far as Russia but when the opportunity presented itself, Steve & I jumped at it. People have their misconceptions of Russia and still associate it with "The Cold War" etc. Everyone we knew was worried and nervous about us going. All I can say is everyone was WRONG! Moscow is an amazing city with friendly people, beautiful churches, great museums and amazing architecture.
Democracy is only 10 years old in Russia, but wow have they come far. This city is not poor like many people believe. Moscow is growing faster than it ever has. It is true that it's safer for gay guys not to hold hands out in public, but oh well, they still have many different gay clubs, bars etc.
We stayed with 2 very good friends of ours named Igor & Borris. These boys sure knew how to make us feel at home and how to throw a party. I danced at this Club called VII (Seven) which was very trendy. Everyone was very nice and I was treated with the up most respect. The video speaks for itself. Moscow was Amazing and we plan on going back in the future.
